Dr. Bio

Kevin J. Mudd, M.D. - Kevin J. Mudd is medical director of the Batavia Radiation Oncology Associates. He received his medical degree from the State University of New York Health Science Center in Brooklyn and did his internship at Staten Island University Hospital. He completed his residency in radiation oncology at the Department of Radiation Oncology at SUNY Brooklyn. Before coming to Batavia, he was in practice at Finger Lakes Radiation Oncology Center in Clifton Springs. He is a clinical senior instructor in radiation oncology at the University of Rochester and School of Medicine and, is a member of the associate staff of Strong Memorial Hospital. Dr. Mudd is a native of Lewiston, New York, and has been involved in cancer care since 1977, when he trained as a radiation therapist at Upstate Health Science Center in Syracuse. He currently serves there as a lecturer. He is board certified in radiation oncology with special skills in gynecologic oncology, brachytherapy, interstitial (seed) implants and rectal cancer. He holds appointments at United Memorial Medical Center. Medina Memorial Hospital, Roswell Park Cancer Community Center Network, among others. He is a member of the Monroe County Medical Society, American College of Radiology and the American Society for Therapeutic Radiology. Dr. Mudd lives in Spencerport, New York with his wife and two children.

Jan Dombrowski - Jan Dombrowski is the Medical Director of the Pluta Cancer Center in Henrietta and a partner in Batavia Radiation Oncology Associates. He is a graduate of Yale University and Thomas Jefferson Medical College. He trained in Radiation Oncology at Strong Memorial Hospital, and he is an Assistant Clinical Professor at the University or Rochester School of Medicine. Dr. Dombrowski is on the board of Directors of the Rochester Individual Practice Association and serves nationally on the finance committee of the American Society of Therapeutic Radiologists and Oncologists. He resides in Honeoye Falls with his wife Kathy and their three children.
